Iraqi Wisdom Movement: Relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran will reflect positively on the region

The head of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed today that the diplomatic developments between Saudi Arabia and Iran will reflect positively on the region.

A statement issued by the media office of the movement stated that the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom during a Ramadan visit to Saudi Arabia, and exchanged views on developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and the inter-relations between Baghdad and Riyadh.

The statement added that al-Hakim expressed his support for any step that contributes to stopping violence and fighting in Yemen and restoring this pivotal country to its Arab and regional role and status, expressing his happiness for the ongoing practical steps to restore Syria and occupy its seat in the next Arab summit.

He called for more cooperation in the research and scientific field and practical steps in this field.
