Barcelona has recently begun searching for distinguished players whose contracts expire within a few months, in order to include them for free, and has already concluded more than one deal in this way, such as Frank Casey and Andreas Christensen.
According to the British newspaper “Telegraph”, Barcelona is interested in contracting with Ivorian Wilfried Zaha, winger of Crystal Palace club.
Zaha’s contract with his club expires at the end of the current season, without reaching an agreement on renewal yet.
And the newspaper added, that Barcelona, if it settles on the inclusion of Zaha, will enter into a fierce competition with Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea clubs.
Barcelona is awaiting the La Liga Association’s decision regarding the feasibility plan related to reducing the wage bill, in order to conclude new deals that do not enter the club into the cycle of “fair play.”
