The tournament will be held over four days with the participation of 56 players from various governorates of the Republic, namely the capital, Taiz, Ibb, Hadramout Al-Wadi, Hadramout Al-Sahel, Al-Hodeidah, Abyan, Hajjah, Lahj, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and Al-Mahweet.
The player Bashir Al-Mahqari managed to reach the final after he surpassed the player Abdul Rahman Al-Yafei 3/2 in the semi-final, while Hossam Jamil qualified for the final by defeating the player Majd Al-Dhubhani 3/2 in the semi-final, to meet the players in the final of the tournament the day after tomorrow, Saturday.
While the third place went to the player Majd Al-Dhubhani, who won the match for the third and fourth places over the player Abdul Rahman Al-Yafei 3/1.
Today, Thursday, strong and exciting matches were held in the round of sixteen and the quarter-finals, leading to the semi-finals.
Where the matches of the round of sixteen, which were held this afternoon at the Al-Ahly club hall, were attended by the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the Sports Sector, Hussein Al-Khawlani, and a number of members of the federation, strong competitions and high-level technical glimpses.
