Ammon – Jordan and Iraq signed today, Thursday, a memorandum of understanding for the processing and transportation of crude oil, according to which Jordan imports 10,000 barrels based on the monthly Brent crude average minus $16 per barrel, to cover the difference in quality and transportation fees.

Regarding the quantities of oil imported by Jordan, Minister Kharabsheh said that the Kingdom imported from Iraq from September 2021 until the end of March 2023 about 4.5 million barrels, at a rate of about 9.992 barrels per day.
