A young man threw himself in front of a subway train at Ain Shams station in Cairo, which led to his death. The body was transferred to the hospital to take the necessary measures, and a report of the incident was issued, and the investigation authorities took over the investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident.
Abdel-Hadi, the official spokesman for the National Authority for Tunnels affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, denied what was reported about the stoppage of the metro movement in the first line because of the accident.
And Abdel-Hadi stressed that the movement of the first line metro is running regularly on the third day of Eid Al-Fitr, and there is no truth to the occurrence of any malfunctions in the subway movement.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Transport appealed to citizens, in a statement issued today, to exercise caution when crossing the railway slides, to adhere to the authority’s instructions when crossing, to adhere to crossing after the slides were opened and the train passed, and not to storm the slides or walk in the opposite direction while they were closed, so that this does not lead to loss of life and disruption of the train’s path.
