Deputy Emir of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, Vice-Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, Prince Badr bin Sultan, chaired the meeting of the committee, which included a review of the authorities’ plans and preparations for the Hajj season, and a discussion of the readiness of facilities, services and camps in the holy sites.
He was briefed on the early preparations of the authorities for this year’s Hajj season and the readiness of the facilities to provide services to the pilgrims from the moment of their arrival in the Kingdom until their safe departure from their country. In this regard, more than 4 thousand permits were issued for the pilgrims’ homes, and more than 19 thousand buses were prepared to transport the guests of Rahman. The conditions of all projects being implemented in the holy sites were reviewed, and the percentage of completion in them to ensure their readiness.
